I am a third-year student double majoring in Criminal Justice and Psychology, with a minor in Spanish and a certificate in Crime and Intelligence analysis. I grew up in a small town that did not place a high value on education, but growing up I knew that education is power and I want to be knowledgeable on things bigger than me. I am a part of the University of Cincinnati's honors program, Criminal Justice Society, Student Activity Board, and Women in Law groups. Through UC and my education, I want to pursue my dream of learning more and meeting people that value education and the idea of being knowledgeable. The Criminal Justice system has intrigued me since I was a little girl, I have always been curious about the world of law around me.  My passion only grew and grew once I got older, but now that I can start to get involved I am excited to begin my future. I enjoy planning trips and traveling to see other environments that experience life completely differently than I do. Over the Summer of 2022, I went to Costa Rica and was able to do just that, I went to a local orphanage and got to play with the children and expand my Spanish while cleaning and painting their buildings and classrooms. I want to continue traveling and exploring but helping the communities I visit at the same time!
